This place is an absolute hidden gem of San Antonio. I lived 20+ year in San Antonio and only learned about this place after I moved. Now, it is a MUST VISIT every single time I am back in San Antonio. The brisket tacos are out of this world. Very good bean and cheese and bacon and egg tacos as well. Location is a pretty small, it fills up quick. Service is very good and the again the food is extremely delicious.

Excellent, as always They are known for their brisket tacos and there is a reason for that,, they are killer! Homemade flour tortillas supple, tender, the right tooth feel that separates the mundane from the excellent The brisket is smokey with that perfect balance of fat and salt, the tenderness is perfection, not chewy and not mushy They have a version with guacamole on it but I avoid culinary adulterations and stick to the true forms. When it's great, it needs no help and this place is where it's at for a brisket taco

Simply the best Mexican food in San Antonio Texas. I don't think you could find any better brisket anywhere The enchiladas with chili are amazing .l've been coming here since they opened and I was 11 years old. I'm 67 now. That's some generations of my family and everyone loves this place. I moved away to California for many years and I came back about five years ago. Nothing has changed, food is still delicious the best.. It's warm and inviting worth the wait. The staff was wonderful.

The food is very good..usually busy with a good 15-25 min wait.. small and cozy.. prices are moderately priced for smaller than average portioned plates..There are 2 deal breakers only..the restrooms and NO SWEET TEA..I think this is the only restaurant in San Antonio that doesnt have sweet tea..

The food and service were good, but there was nothing special about the specials. You probably paid more for the so called specials than just buying a plate at full price due to omissions on the "specials". There were no complimentary chips and salsa. You had to pay 1.99 for then. I felt ripped off when I left. I don't understand why the place was crowded. I won't go back.
